JSM Engineering Ltd was established in 1979 and is a leading supplier to the construction industry

Our range of products includes architectural metalwork such as Balconies, Staircases, Balustrades, Handrails, Platforms, Walkways and Canopies.

We are a growing company, circa £4m turnover and  50 employees, that has a friendly working environment with excellent prospects and security. A new position has arisen for an Operations & Compliance Manager

​

This senior management  role reports directly to the Directors and  is responsible for overseeing interventions throughout the contract cycle and ensuring compliance with the Companies, policy procedure and strategy.  It has over sight and management of these core areas

​

  • UKCA Marking compliance

  • Training

  • Business Process and performance analysis

  • Building and Machinery Maintenance

 

The ideal candidate will  need to be a self starter with a strong operation background and outstanding project management skills.  You will need to be able to work  with autonomy and discretion, and successfully communicate and implement health and safety, compliance and quality systems with our internal teams. 

​

  • at least 5 years experience management experience in a Metalwork, Engineering & Construction environment

  • qualification and experience in managing health and safety

  • qualification and experience in managing quality systems

  • the ability to lead continuous improvement

  • Experience of developing and implementing logistical and operation processes and procedure

​
