Staircases and Walkways
Our architectural metalwork expertise stretches from basic galvanised escape stairs through to complex high specification feature staircases including cantilevered and large single span types. Our experienced designers will work with your architect and design team to take their concept through to final working drawings and then our time served fabricators and installers will manufacture and fit the end product. Fixing methods and interfacing are taken in to account at an early stage in order to negate problems further down the line.
Underlying stair structure is fabricated using mild steel stringers, treads and framing. Full timber cladding and the cantilever design elevates this stair into a stunning architectural feature.
Mild steel staircase with tray treads that have been screed filled prior to carpeting. This stair is given a high quality finish by using stainless steel and glass balustrades. This type of stair design requires a high level of attention to detail and as with vast majority of our work JSM designers had full design responsibility on this project.
Painted mild steel structure with curved landings including curved glass panels and handrails to the balustrades. This type of stair is ideally suited to atrium or other open areas of a building in order to fully showcase the feature elements.
